Medication therapy management (aka MTM) is a thorough checkup of your medication profile including all of your prescriptions, over the counter medications, herbal supplements, immunizations and more.  Our highly trained pharmacists will collaborate with your doctor’s office to obtain a complete up-to-date and accurate medical profile.  The profile is then checked for appropriate medication therapy and any potential problems or cost saving opportunities.  Then we sit down with you to discuss any over-the-counter medications or supplements you may be taking to assure they are appropriate with your current medication profile and health status.  This information is shared with your doctor in order to assure your medications are optimal for you as an individual.  Most insurance companies pay for this service so there is usually no cost to you.  Ask our staff for details.
